New Video: CISA Director Jen Easterly Sits Down With ELC Alumni

In a new video, CISA Director Jen Easterly, recipient of the 2024 George C. Marshall Award in Ethical Leadership, discusses her leadership journey and lessons she has learned throughout her career with students who have attended “Five-Star Character: The George C. Marshall Ethical Leadership Conference.”

In an extended conversation with the students, Easterly shared personal experiences and insights and discussed her key influences. She recounted some of the toughest decisions she has had to make and the importance of authenticity and integrity in leadership roles.

Students posed thoughtful questions on how ethical leadership lessons they’ve explored in the Marshall Center’s ELC program apply in real-world scenarios, including:

  • What are your key influences?

  • What’s a difficult decision you’ve had to make?

  • How do you establish yourself as a leader?

We encourage you to check out and share this compelling new video, which features highlights from the conversation, the latest edition of the Marshall Center’s Profiles in Leadership Series!
